: : VolunteersGNOTRC - Horse Riding Stable - could not exist without volunteers. Many volunteer their time at GNOTRC each year. Most therapists, instructors and center administrators are volunteers. By volunteering, you can learn about people with disabilities, horses, horse riding, stables, and make new friends. You'll gain tremendous satisfaction from watching the participants enjoy contact with horses physically, mentally and emotionally. You will “give back to your community” while having fun! Regardless of where you live, the GNOTRC is not far from you and we be happy to welcome you. GNOTRC Volunteers assist in a variety of ways.
Most centers accept volunteers 14 years of age and older. However, children younger than 14 who have a strong horseman ship background are often considered. By volunteering, you can learn about disabilities, horses, horse riding, stables and make new friends. You'll gain tremendous satisfaction from watching your riders improve physically, mentally and emotionally. But most of all, you will be making life brighter for individuals with disabilities. Regardless of where you live, the GNOTRC is not far away. To learn more about volunteering, contact GNOTRC today. You can e-mail the Greater New Orleans
Therapeutic Riding Center at anita(at)gnotrc.com or contact us by phone or mail.
